BCA ENTERED MANY COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WITH EXISTING SERVICE USERS

Jakarta, TopBusiness – PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM) continues to boost its performance by collaborating with many companies to utilize the company’s services. It is felt that this commercialization step has helped boost the company’s performance.

Until now, the commercialization of the IPCM business can also be seen from the various signings of IPCM collaborations with partners which are also actively being carried out.

Among other things, the signing of several long-term agreements with PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk., PT Nusantara Regas, PT Jawa Satu Power, PT Cirebon Electric Power, PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana, PT Lang Lang Laju Layang and PT Pelabuhan Bukit Prima.

Apart from that, IPCM has also signed a cooperation agreement regarding pilotage and towing services with Pelindo Jasa Maritime Sub Holding for the entire Regional 2 area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).

“The extension of the IPCM service cooperation agreement to strategic partners reflects our commitment to continue to meet the expectations of service users and improve and improve service quality for better customer satisfaction,” said Shanti, IPCM President Director and Commercial and Business Development Director, Shanti Puruhita , quoted Friday (1/12/2023).

This large amount of collaboration has pushed the company’s financial performance to be better. In the 9M-2023 financial report, IPCM was able to record better performance than the same period in the previous year with an increase in revenue of 27.87% to IDR 858.11 billion from IDR 671.05 billion (YoY). IPCM also recorded an increase in profit of IDR 119.78 billion, up 17.81% from IDR 101.67 billion (YoY).

The main contribution to IPCM’s revenue came from ship services amounting to IDR 756.28 billion or 88.13% of total revenue. Other income contributions were transportation and other services amounting to IDR 70.33 billion or 8.19% and ship management services amounting to IDR 31.50 billion or 3.67%.

Revenue from ship towing services consisting of general ports amounting to IDR 326.02 billion, Special Terminals (Tersus) amounting to IDR 227.47 billion and Terminals for Private Use (TUKS) amounting to IDR 163.72 billion.

The increase in Tersus income in this period experienced a higher increase when compared to TUKS income, with respective increases of 73.74% and 34.99% compared to the 2022 period.

The cost of revenue increased by 32.95% from IDR 480.68 billion to IDR 639.09 billion, most of which was contributed by the increase in fuel prices. Nevertheless, by implementing the company’s strategic plan, the Company managed to record an increase in operating profit of 20.47% to IDR 144.95 billion from IDR 120.33 billion in the previous year.

IPCM was also able to record an increase in total assets of 3.91% from IDR 1.49 trillion in 9M-2022 to IDR 1.55 trillion in 9M-2023.

Shanti Puruhita added, “We are optimistic that Indonesia’s stable economic growth will continue to stimulate and increase trade flows and logistics transportation, so that IPCM’s revenue in 2023 will grow as expected.”

“We also thank all customers, strategic business partners and other stakeholders for the good synergy so that IPCM was able to record positive revenues in the 3rd semester of this year and hope that the company’s performance this year will be in accordance with the company’s previously determined work plan and budget,” added IPCM Director of Finance and Human Resources, Reini Delfianti in response to the company’s performance achievements over the last nine months.

Director of Fleet and Operations, Muhammad Iqbal added, the company was able to maintain this achievement continuously because it was supported by several aspects, including fleet and crew readiness, timely ship maintenance and the implementation of various transformation programs such as Marine Transformation, CWS (Central Workshop) Learning Center , Fit to Work and BBM transformation which aims to improve operational services.
