Cirebon, October 10, 2025. PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM), as part of the Pelindo Group, remains committed to making a tangible impact on society through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Pelindo Mengajar 2025. This initiative is held simultaneously at selected schools across Indonesia as part of the celebration of Pelindo’s 4th anniversary. IPCM had the opportunity to carry out Pelindo Mengajar 2025 at SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari, Cirebon, located near the company’s operational area.
The Pelindo Mengajar program aims to introduce the port and logistics industry to high school students across Indonesia. It also instills environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values, while providing educational support through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment to promote digital learning.
Shanti Puruhita, President Director of IPCM and also a guest teacher during the Pelindo Mengajar session at SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari Cirebon, stated, “This program not only introduces the role of Pelindo Group as an Agent of Social and Agent of Development, but also aims to motivate students to study diligently and prepare themselves to become future leaders of Indonesia. It also emphasizes the importance of reading literacy, especially in today’s digital era.”
During the event, which was attended by 150 students of SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari Cirebon, IPCM provided educational support focused on enhancing digital teaching and learning through ICT donations to the school. This assistance is expected to strengthen the school’s learning infrastructure and support a more effective and technology-adaptive educational process.
“Pelindo Mengajar is IPCM’s effort, as part of the Pelindo Group, to support education in Indonesia and reignite the spirit of reading literacy. Literacy skills are the foundation for developing competitive and high-quality human resources to help realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia,” concluded Shanti Puruhita.
