Makassar (ANTARA) – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama (PII) and PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM) are synergizing investments through commercial cooperation and capital market communications business.
“Collaboration is increasingly being strengthened and this is IPCM’s step in expanding the dissemination of information regarding the performance and business prospects of IPCM as an investment option,” said IPCM Main Director Shanti Puruhita in a press statement delivered by the Corporate Secretary (Sekper) of Sub Holding Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) Tubagus Patrick Tribudi Utama Iskandar in Makassar, Tuesday.
This collaboration began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama (PII) and IPCM.
The signing of this MoU was carried out by Shanti Puruhita as Main Director of IPCM with Ikhwanoel as Main Director of PII at Pelindo Tower, Jakarta, on November 17 2023.
Shanti expressed the importance of this collaboration considering that financial literacy among Indonesian people is increasing so that they increasingly understand the importance of financial stability to survive with increasing needs and prices in the future.
On the other hand, the presence of online loans (pinjol) is increasingly widespread and needs attention.
Therefore, IPCM and Pelindo Investama present educational programs such as financial investment education for internal Pelindo group employees and also for the public.
“This program is a medium for providing understanding not only about capital market literacy and investment, but also financial literacy and knowledge to be wiser in managing and using it,” he said.
In this regard, Santi expressed his appreciation for the financial investment education activities carried out by Pelindo Investama among the Pelindo group by collaborating with a number of securities.
Through this kind of activity, he continued, participants can directly choose investment instruments of their choice through financial institutions that are registered with the OJK.
“So, apart from introducing IPCM to the public, it also supports Pelindo Group’s efforts to increase financial literacy and investment provided to employees,” he said.
On the same occasion, Pelindo Investama Indonesia President Director Ikhwanoel said that the collaboration was more intended to introduce IPCM and IPCC as two Pelindo group public companies to Pelindo internals in every port area starting from Regional 1 Medan, Regional 2 Jakarta Regional 3 Surabaya to Regional 4 Makassar .
“Apart from that, in the future we also want to expand this collaboration to universities in Indonesia so that IP cm is more widely known,” he said.
