At the end of July 2021, Friday (30/21), PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX:IPCM) carried out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) community development through Waste Bank activities in the Lagoa and Rawa Badak Utara sub-districts. This activity is part of a series of CSR activities in the context of the 8th Anniversary of IPCM Works.

In order to support employee involvement, the Waste Bank Community Development CSR program has again mobilized IPCM Employee Care (E-Care) in the delivery of Waste Bank equipment and training simulations on organic waste processing. This program aims to help communities around the company’s operational areas in realizing a clean environment through processing organic waste.

The results of the processing of this organic waste, apart from being a planting medium, can also be used as eco-enzymes which will have high selling value and benefits for the beneficiaries. Eco-enzyme is a liquid resulting from the fermentation of organic kitchen waste such as fruit and vegetable pulp, sugar that can be used as a house cleaner, as well as natural fertilizers and pesticides that are effective in tackling plant pests.

This Garbage Bank community development activity is carried out by observing strict health protocols and complying with PPKM rules, starting from the handing over of Waste Bank equipment to training simulations for organic waste processing.
