IPCM Signs Cooperation Agreement with PT Langlang Laju Layang, and Hands Over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Assistance in Bali

Denpasar, 18 November 2021. PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM) signed a Cooperation Agreement with PT Langlang Laju Layang to expand the Aceh market by collaborating to provide piloting and towing assistance facilities for the Meulaboh Ship to Ship area, Aceh, on Thursday (18/11).

The Cooperation Agreement signed by the President Director of PT JAI Tbk, Amri Yusuf and the President Director of PT Langlang Laju Layang, Andy Ngadimin aims to synergize to support the smooth running of ship towing services where PT JAI Tbk will provide two vessels to provide towing services in maritime areas. Meulaboh, Aceh.

This collaboration is a long-term collaboration which is expected to accelerate the release of export dry bulk cargo, especially for types of coal in the Meulaboh water area which is expected to encourage regional economic improvement.

PT JAI Tbk hopes that this step will be an illustration of the company’s optimism to continue providing wider and optimal ship towing services in welcoming the post-pandemic economic recovery at the end of 2021.

IPCM Corporate Social Responsibility

In line with the growing market, PT JAI Tbk, through its sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, supports programs to address the issue of plastic waste in communities. Located in the Bali region, Thursday (18/11), in the context of the company carrying out a series of business agendas, PT JAI Tbk also contributed to supporting Trash Hero Indonesia in Bali in educating the public to switch to reusable drinking bottles. Approximately 150 reusable drinking bottles were provided by the company through the Trash Hero Indonesia community to support the water refill culture that is being campaigned. Apart from that, PT JAI Tbk also supports the weekly clean-up movement by providing 12 units of organic and non-organic waste bins for coastal tourism areas in Bali.

This CSR program is a form of company support and concern in controlling the amount of waste that has the potential to pollute the environment, especially in the sea.
