10 Percent Surplus, Q3 2024 IPCM Captures Revenue of IDR 946 Billion

EmitenNews.com – Jasa Armada Indonesia (IPCM) as of September 30, 2024, recorded revenue of Rp946.62 billion. This is a 10.31 percent increase from the same period last year, which was Rp858.11 billion. The accumulated net profit was Rp121.10 billion, a surplus of 1.11 percent from the same position last year, which was Rp119.77 billion.

The main contribution to revenue from ship servicing services was Rp873.51 billion or 92.27 percent of total revenue, an increase of 15.50 percent YoY. Other revenue contributions came from transportation services and others amounting to Rp73.11 billion. Revenue from ship berthing services consisted of public ports Rp392.42 billion, special terminals (Tersus) Rp317.63 billion, and terminals for private interests (TUKS) Rp163.45 billion.

The increase in revenue from public ports rose by 20.37 percent, and from special ports by 39.64 percent compared to the same period last year. That shows the company is capable of increasing business volume growth in most segments. The growth is also balanced by a 1.07 percent increase in total assets to Rp1.54 trillion from the same edition last year, which was Rp1.52 trillion.

The President Director of IPCM, Shanti Puruhita, stated that despite various challenges in 2024, the company is optimistic about achieving better performance than before and maintaining the company’s fundamentals well. Efforts to implement strategies in the form of service optimization, fleet and crew readiness, ship maintenance, and enhanced cooperation with partners.

“Furthermore, of course, the renewal of production tools in the form of ship construction and the effectiveness of work patterns that prioritize safety elements in the service of guiding and delaying ships for user satisfaction are our commitments,” Shanti emphasized.

The company’s performance can continue to be maintained from several aspects. The step taken by IPCM to enhance cooperation with strategic partners and associations is still actively pursued. On April 1, 2024, the Government, through the Ministry of Transportation, officially delegated to IPCM the task of providing Pilotage and Tugboat Services in the waters of Obi Island Mayor-West Coast in the Extraordinary Pilot Waters of Laiwui Port, North Maluku Province.

“As a company engaged in the pilotage and towage business, IPCM, which manages 94 vessels, continues to prioritize environmentally friendly principles through the use of shore connections and solar panels on ships. In addition to recording positive financial performance, IPCM continues to strengthen its contribution to supporting a sustainable ecosystem and consistently promotes the application of governance principles. This is demonstrated by IPCM’s achievement of winning the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2023 for the first time as the runner-up in the non-financial public company category.
