LOGISTIKNEWS.ID – PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX:IPCM) published its financial report ending on September 30, 2024.
In the 9M-2024 financial report, IPCM was able to record better performance than the same period in the previous year with a revenue increase of 10.31% to Rp946.62 billion from Rp858.11 billion (YoY). IPCM also recorded an increase in profit from the previous Rp119.77 billion (YoY) to Rp121.10 billion.
The main contribution to IPCM’s revenue comes from ship servicing services amounting to Rp873.51 billion or 92.27% of total revenue, an increase of 15.50% (YoY). Other revenue contributions come from transportation services and others amounting to Rp73.11 billion.
The income from ship berthing services, which consists of public ports worth Rp392.42 billion, Special Terminals (Tersus) amounting to Rp317.63 billion, and Terminals for Their Own Interests (TUKS) totaling Rp163.45 billion.
The increase in revenue from Public and Special Ports during this period has risen, with an increase of 20.37% from the previous year and 39.64% compared to the year 2023.
This shows that IPCM is capable of increasing business volume growth in most segments. IPCM’s growth is also accompanied by a total asset increase of 1.07% from Rp1.52 trillion in 2023 to Rp1.54 trillion in 9M-2024.
The President Director of IPCM, Shanti Puruhita, stated that despite the various challenges faced in 2024, they are optimistic about achieving better performance than before and maintaining the Company’s strong fundamentals.
“The efforts to implement the Company’s strategy in the form of optimizing services, readiness of the fleet and crew, ship maintenance, and enhancing cooperation with partners, renewal of production tools in the form of shipbuilding, as well as the effectiveness of work patterns that prioritize safety elements in ship towing services for user satisfaction, are our commitment,” he said on Monday (28/10/2024).
The Company’s performance up to the third quarter of 2024 has been able to be maintained from several aspects. IPCM’s efforts to enhance cooperation with strategic partners and associations are still actively ongoing.
On April 1, 2024, the Government, through the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, officially granted a Delegation to IPCM to carry out Pilotage and Tugboat Services in the waters of Obimayor Island-West Coast within the Extraordinary Pilot Waters of Laiwui Port, North Maluku Province.
“As a company engaged in pilotage and towage services, IPCM, which manages 94 vessels, continues to prioritize environmentally friendly principles through the use of shore connections and solar panels on ships. In addition to being committed to meeting customer expectations through service quality, IPCM also consistently provides positive and sustainable impacts for a better ecosystem,” concluded Shanti.
In addition to recording positive financial performance, IPCM continues to strengthen its contribution to supporting a sustainable ecosystem and consistently promotes the application of governance principles. This is demonstrated by IPCM’s achievement of winning the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2023 for the first time, securing 2nd place in the Non-Financial Public Company category.
The award event with the theme “Internalizing Integrated Mindset Toward Sustainable Long Term Value Creation” is organized by 7 (seven) organizing agencies, namely the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance, PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the National Committee on Governance Policy (KNKG), and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants.
