The Revenue of Indonesia’s Armada Services (IPCM) Soared in Q3 2024, Here Are the Supporting Factors

Warta Ekonomi, Jakarta – PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM) recorded positive performance in the first nine months of 2024. Quoting from the IDX Information Disclosure, IPCM recorded revenue of IDR 946.62 billion, an increase of 10.31% from IDR 858.11 billion in the same period the previous year. IPCM also noted an increase in profit from IDR 119.77 billion to IDR 121.10 billion.

The main contribution to IPCM’s revenue comes from ship service fees amounting to Rp873.51 billion or 92.27% of total revenue, an increase of 15.50% (YoY). Other revenue contributions are derived from transportation services and others amounting to Rp73.11 billion.

The income from ship berthing services, which consists of public ports worth Rp392.42 billion, Special Terminals (Tersus) amounting to Rp317.63 billion, and Terminals for Their Own Interests (TUKS) totaling Rp163.45 billion.

The increase in revenue from Public and Special Ports during this period also experienced a rise, with increases of 20.37% from the previous year and 39.64% compared to the 2023 period.

This shows that IPCM is capable of increasing business volume growth in most segments. The growth of IPCM is also accompanied by a 1.07% increase in total assets from IDR 1.52 trillion in 2023 to IDR 1.54 trillion in the third quarter of 2024.

The President Director of IPCM, Shanti Puruhita, stated, “We are optimistic about achieving better performance than before and maintaining the company’s strong fundamentals.” Efforts to implement the company’s strategy in the form of optimizing services, readiness of the fleet and crew, ship maintenance, and enhancing cooperation with partners, renewal of production tools in the form of shipbuilding, as well as the effectiveness of work patterns that prioritize safety elements in ship towing pilot services for user satisfaction, are our commitment.

IPCM continues to strive to enhance cooperation with strategic partners and associations. On April 1, 2024, the government, through the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, officially granted a Delegation to IPCM to carry out Pilotage and Towage Services in the waters of Obimayor Island-West Coast in the Extraordinary Pilot Waters of Laiwui Port, North Maluku Province.
